Ada Bojana Srce
Rovinj beach

If you are an adventurous traveler, ready for some adult excitement or need a real swinger getaway, the Istrian coastline is the ideal destination for you. The following section is dedicated to the marvelous, less known and isolated beaches of the Adriatic. If you are a fan of nudity or casual love making in combination with the sounds of the ocean, stay tuned! We will reveal the best locations for your open-behavior vacation and give you an inside scoop on what to expect, what to bring and where to meet people with the same lifestyle.

Punta Križa Beach

Punta Križa or Cape Cross is a small rocky beach in Rovinj, a paradise for swingers and members of the LGBTQ community. It is made of large shapes, with a rocky base in contact with the sea. Although it is isolated, due to the special nature of its guests, it is very well filled. If you decide to come, be sure to bring sunscreen and an umbrella if you have one. The beach is constantly under the sun, and you, as a nudist, are especially exposed.

The 200 meter long beach is wrapped in dense vegetation that you can only pass by foot, not with a vehicle – the main reason why this place is so unknown and private. You can fully relax in the shade, tan naked on the rocks, swim in the clear Adriatic, meet new open-minded people or make love in broad daylight – there is no criticism or weird looks. Unfortunately, there is no lounge rental, so bring your fluffiest towels for maximal comfort. If you get hungry, there are two great restaurants offering fresh delicacies.

Valalta

Valalta is primarily a family-friendly naturalist camp, not so much a swinger resort. However, over the years the number of swingers visiting Valalta has increased significantly. Read more about Valalta. Most of them come from Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary. Sometimes there are over 300 swinger couples vacationing at the same time. As most campers are just naturalists, the best way to find some like-minded company is by announcing your visit over a swinger website. A grill bar in the resort is also an unofficial swingers meeting point. The percentage of younger guests is in your favor, so if you meet a flirty nudist couple, just give it a try, without being pushy. You should have in mind that public sex on the beaches is taboo, as there are children present. So be a little considerate and get the party started behind closed camp doors or in the Anaconda swingers club nearby. A refreshing dip in the salty swimming pool or a few drinks at the resort bar can be an excellent overture for the fun coming later.

Koversada

Koversada is another naturalist campsite near Vrsar, famous for unisex nudist beaches and sheltered pebble bays. It is a very relaxing place, ideal for laid-back people. Similar to Valalta, the camp is considered a family-friendly clothes-free resort. Only children under 12 years are allowed to wear something. It is not an official swinger’s meeting-point, but it’s the closest to what we can get in terms of freely expressing sexuality. Again, swinger meetups can be arranged mainly over swinger websites. We are sure that all the tanned skin showing will increase your desire to get intimate, but please don’t play in public (or at least make sure you don’t get caught). Just enjoy the tantalizing ambience!

Punta Eva

The beach Punta Eva (Cape Eva) lies in the southern part of Polari campsite and is reserved for naturists. On the coast side it is isolated from the public eye by a dense pine forest. The side facing the Adriatic can sometimes be problematic, as it might happen that “clothed” campers swim by, not knowing this is a strict nudist area. The beach itself is made of pebble, round stones and is ideal for those who don’t like getting sand stuck to their towels or bodies. All in all, the area is a lovely place to enjoy sun and sea water. The people are friendly, fun and respectful and everyone minds their own business.

Crveni Otok

Crveni Otok (Red Island) is just 15-minute boat ride from Rovinj and is an uninhabited area ideal for nudists. The Red Beach is located on Maškin, the smaller from the two islets forming the Red Island. It is known as an unofficial naturist resort, friendly for homo and heterosexual couples. It can be reached by private boat or taxi-boats parking a bit further, near the little dock called Dolphin. The beach is a rocky and quiet little spot, away from the hotel and annex crowd. Basically, any hidden bay on this island is a nudist beach for itself.

St. Catherine’s Beach

Only a 5-minute boat ride from Rovinj is a great escape corner for nudists. The beach we are writing about is located on St. Catherine’s island and bears the same name. It is hidden in a dense forest in the western end of the islet. This small, stony, but attractive bay is one of the prettiest, yet safest in the area. It is a real paradise for those who love to feel the sun and water on completely bare skin. Taxi boats that depart from Rovinj’s harbor arrive not far from the spot, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding it.

Kolone

Kolone beach is situated within Kolone car-camp, near the small medieval town Bale, 19 km south of Rovinj. One part of the camp is dominated by pine trees, and the opposite by black oaks. The riviera consists of small pebbly bays and rocky coves. Untouched groves and a rugged terrain make the long coastal belt ideal for nudists. Here you can surely find some peace and get to know people with the same, or similar, mindset.
